Sünopsis

The amateur video recorded by Edgar Väär shows the arrival of the Boys' Choir of the National Male Choir to Toronto, their reception and greeting by the local community of expatrian Estonians at the end of autumn 1989. The video starts with depicting the arrival of the boys' choir by school buses, reception of the choir, festive speeches and singing of a local male choir in the background of the Estonian and Canadian national flags. The singers are welcomed by the head of Estonian Choir Union Heikki Paara and the Honorary Consul Ilmar Heinsoo. The boys' choir is singing "The Dawn" by Mihkel Lüdig and Estonian national anthem. The film ends with the excerpts of arrangement information.
