Chaaria is a village with a population of five thousand in Meru County, Kenya. In 1998 an Italian doctor, Brother Beppe Gaido, began establishing a hospital there. Over 60 000 people now receive care there each year. Cottolengo Chaaria Hospital is the name of this Catholic hospital. This documentary was filmed in Chaaria in November of 2018.
