Portrait film about elderly miller Aleksander Helm residing in Saaremaa island, Estonia.

The wings of the trestle windmill in Ilaste are spinning around. The windmill was built in 1891. Aleksander Helm is one of the last millers among a few left. Despite his old age - he is 70 - Aleksander Helm still works in the old mill. He ties a rope around a bag of grain and the bag is heaved upstairs.
