Twenty years ago a bunch of folk musicians met in Viljandi and this meeting led to the first folk music festival in Viljandi. Today when the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary there are young people in their early twenties, wearing some instrument and having music in their hearts.They have a different world view and their values are valuable.Jaak Johanson, the leading figure of Estonian folk music, walks and mingles with them. Folk is the new punk.
