Sun is a Good Child (2014)

Mart Kuurme is a lifetime physics teacher. He arrives to Kongo village in Northern Ghana on October 21st, 2013 in order to start working as a volunteer teacher of physics and astronomy to local children. Solar eclipse is expected in Ghana on November 3rd. Mart carefully prepares for the event: observations of the starry sky at late night, physics lessons in a local secondary school. The film also reflects the life of local people, often accompanied by dancing - they dance everywhere and all the time, either in football competitions, funerals or harvesting parties, even in churches. Mart goes to observe solar eclipse straight from the church. It started before Mart has expected.
