Grotesque and tragicomical story about the Soviet pathologist Alexei Abrikosov who eviscerated Lenin's dead body in 1924 and performed its initial enbalming. Since then, Abrikosov's and his assistant Sasha's lives have been related to taking care of Lenin's body. It is the year 1936, the era of Stalin's night-time repressions. No one can sleep, there are arrestments and executions. No one is protected from the NKVD (People's Commissariat for Internal Affairs), especially the élite of USSR.
