Unedited amateur film material on reels 1-7 depicts international gymnastics celebration held in Stockholm on the olympic stadium in summer 1949. Reels 8-9 depict scenes about Konstantin Päts Red-Cross Open Air School in Pirita-Kose in 1938-1939. The opening celebrations show also Ernst Idla's gymnasts with the national flag of Estonia. The scenes filmed in the open air school depict the daily school life and pastime activities: bathing in the sea, relay race, garden work, table tennis, dancing, picking rowan tree berries, various competitions, chess play, skiing, sledging, playing snowballs.
