John Baltsar has filmed events in his home town and elsewhere. The documentary starts with the World Fair of 1939 held in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in New York City. The focus is on the huge white globe and the tall obelisk-like building with the national flag of USA. Views to different pavillions: General Motors, New York City, United States of America, Italy. People are standing in long queues. Views from the distance. Statue of George Washington, fountains in front of the pavillion of foreign exhibitions, national flags waving. Parade in Springfield - columns of schools, Scouts and Shriners are marching. Short episode about the spring flood. Shriners' trick drill accompanied by the orchestral music near the Capitol of Connecticut State, Hartford. There is the graduation ceremony taking place near the Chapel of Trinity College. The film ends with views about visiting the rose garden of Elizabeth Park on June 21st, 1956.
