The documentary belongs to the series "Ten minutes around the Soviet Union" and gives an overview of the laborious workers in Kirov collective fishery of Estonian SSR in order to increase the local standard of living. The film studies the role of social consumer funds in satisfying people's personal needs. 4260 members of the collective farm receive free services for 60 roubles per year. It is emphasized that the benefits and the costs of the collective farm as well as the increase in people's standard of living has been achieved thanks to the excellent organization of collective action. Despite the propagandistic character of the documentary the filmmakers have succeeded in showing the reality in an honest and plausible way.
