Documentary by Peeter Tooming tells about the times when the first men photographed Estonians. Tooming has been inspired by the way photographers looked like in the past and how they recorded men in their natural environment. The daguerreotypes and photographs show our important peple in the field of culture and representatives of Estonian peasantry, Estonian people during the times of national awakening at various angles, close-up frames and characteristic details. An accelerated image strip consisting of about two hundred photographs expresses the breaking events in Estonian history.
