Ethnographic documentary about Estonian folk art emphasizes the artistic practice of our forefathers and foremothers, expressed in clothes, furniture, construction of barn houses and various everyday tools and utensils. Beautiful patterns keep living on also in the artistic practices of contemporary artists and these are inherited to the next generations. The filmmakers visit the Estonian Open Air Museum and observe making of metal art and ceramic pieces.
