The specifics and responsibility of the technicians working at Tallinn airport is difficult. Before the plane takes off, the technicians always perform the pre-flight inspection. It is their daily task to check all the parts of an airplane – from the cockpit to the engine. They call themselves "elephants" in their jargon, probably because their task includes the biggest responsibility and guarantees aviation safety for everyone else working in the field.
