Sünopsis

Pre-election meetings in the Ilmarine factory and in the collective farm "Guardsman" in Paide disctrict, Estonia.

View to a department of the Ilmarine factory. Serious-looking workers stand and listen to the speeches. Big portraits of Lenin and Stalin on the wall. Milling operator Endel Raud, technician of mechanics department Aleksander Lazarev and worker in the moulding department Arnold Grünvald speak at the meeting. Georgi Malenkov, Nikita Khrushchev and Johannes Käbin are unanimously nominated as the candidates for the elections of the state council of the Supreme Council of USSR (synchronized). Everyone applauding.

View to the meeting hall of the collective farm "Guardsman". Small portraits of Lenin and Stalin on the wall, flags, slogan "We nominate the best sons and daughters of our nation as the delegate candidates for the Supreme Council!" Georgi Malenkov is nominated as the first delegate candidate. Endel Aasamets, head of a cattle farm, nominates candidate milker Leida Vinkel. Everyone is in favour of the nomination and raising their hands.
