The Snow Queen (2010)

A woman living in the ice castle coaxes a young boy to live with her. The boy is so enchanted by the beauty of the woman and the ice kingdom that he will soon forget about the real world. She hides her secret from the boy, not telling him the reason why she lives in cold. The romantic drama tells about the beginning of all-powerful love.
The visually fascinating "The Snow Queen" has been mostly filmed in an ice-cream storage building where a special film set was built. The ground was flooded with enormous amount of water that was frozen. The film was shot in extreme conditions (-20C), outdoor filming took place in the northern part of Norway.
