Decades later he finds the painting again. The film unravels as loose ponderings about the plight of being an artist and touches upon the filmmaker’s personal demons. Can he see the painting in a new light?

Estonian well known writer Mehis Heinsaar has seven encounters during his journey in the wilderness, which will open to the viewer the magical inner world of the writer.

The main character of the film is the mysterious writer Mehis Heinsaar, a creator who likes to travel in his inner psychogeography. The writer is surrounded by unusual and meaningful nature, he can speak the language of animals and birds and see the invisible to the naked eye. The writer strives for wide meadows through a wild thicket, and those multi-day hikes he calls the pilgrimages of a poor man. The wanderer has seven encounters along the way, which will open to the viewer the magical inner world of Mehis Heinsaar.

He still has plenty at the grand old age of 70. The new Estonian film opens the doors to a disappearing Bohemianism, in which racy vocabulary reigns instead of political correctness.

The film focuses on Estonian band Metsatöll and their older Finnish brother Finntroll with the aim to get an insight into the nature of Nordic folk metal.

Documentary about Siim-Tanel Annus’ exhibition „Money and Poetry“ in Pärnu Art Hall in 2010 where the artist has displayed his relief paintings on the subject of money.

Siim-Tanel Annus (b. 1960) is one of the most acknowledged representatives of Estonian modern art - he is known as a graphic artist, painter and performance artist. Annus has exhibited his work at more than one hundred exhibitions both in Estonia and abroad; he has participated in Venice Biennale and received several art awards. He has studied in Tõnis Vint's studio and graduated from the department of art history at the University of Tartu. His exhibition "Money and Poetry" held in Pärnu Art Hall in 2010 celebrated also the artist's 50th birthday.
