New culture house has been opened in Kärdla.
The filming crew of Tallinn Kinostuudio goes to the island of Hiiumaa, Estonia. The ferry approaches the island, a Ford and a power station vehicle ZIS 150 are driving off the ferry at the harbour. The windmill, fishing boats, street in Kärdla. Filmmakers ask local people about the directions to the culture house. 85-year-old Johannes Peedu, the oldest culture worker in the island, thinks that he must show the right direction himself to the filmmakers (synchronized). He takes cameraman Harri Martinson and light engineer Alo Kütt to the new culture house in Kärdla. The house includes cinema hall for 190 people, library with a rich selection of books and the rehearsal room of the brass orchestra. Now there is a singing rehearsal of a mixed choir (synchronized).
