Apples of the Eye (2014)

The film shows Riho Roosioja’s daily life with his children. He studies at the University and is about to submit his master’s thesis “Disabled people’s opportunities in Estonian labor market” in a few weeks. He himself has worked in the police and in a beauty salon as a massagist. The interview Riho tells about the problems which he has experienced and describes how becoming blind changed his way of experiencing the world around him. Riho shows the different devices that help him in his daily life, but the most important “eyes” are indubitably his two children.
