The short film tells a story about searching redemption through art.
Sea coast, cemetery. On the edge of open grave is standing meditative Timmu (Mark Erik Savi), holding the urn. After some time he notices Liinushka (Roos Parmas) and twins who are walking toward him. Timmu puts the urn down.
Soon camera crew arrives to the coast. There are also 1AD Kärt and actor Uku who has been late. Timmu wants to start with rehearsal immediately.
Rehearsal starts: Uku stands on the edge of grave and tells the lines. Timmu cuts off the rehearsal because he is not satisfied with Uku´s play. He starts to ask questions, trying to get real emotion. Timmu also inspires Uku to improvise. Kärt feels that she must intervene.
New rehearsal starts. Stuttering Uku now tries to improvise but Timmu breaks rehearsal again. This time he asks Uku to imagine that father is talking to him. Uku is frightened. Kärt intervenes again, asking Timmu to stop manipulating with people.
Timmu presents Uku how to put urn to the grave. After Timmu´s question: “Where were you for so long?”, Uku doesn´t understand anymore, is this play on for real. Uku perceives personal attack and flies off the handle. Now he throws out that he overslept in the morning because that long working days are not normal. Camera crew startles but Timmu is very excited by Uku´s real emotion and requires to make a shot.
The shot is ready to make. Uku is improvising nervously. Nobody understands anymore is he talking in role or as himself because those are totally merged. Timmu is watching Uku´s performance with ardor.
During improvisation Uku opens up the urn and throws ash to the air. Timmu is looking panically flying ash and shouts out: “father”. Camera crew understands situation.
