“Corpse Merchants” is the pilot episode of a TV documentary series “Dark Chronicles' ', which depicts the struggles and excitement of Estonian 90s crime TV genre. There was a time when crime shows dominated the ratings. They helped raise the image of Estonian police forces, as well as help the statistics of lowering crime in the country. What was the phenomena of those shows and what did the makers have to deal with while making those shows?
