Carina Pashkovich, a 5th-year veterinary student at the Estonian University of Life Sciences, tells her story, how she found the specialty of veterinary for herself, what her studies look like, and by telling stories she gets to the difficulties of veterinary education. These include the stress that veterinarians experience when communicating with pet owners. Another interviewee, the owner of the Tallinn Veterinary Clinic and a long-time veterinarian, Kai Laars talks about the pressure from negative feedback in social media, which creates tension for veterinarians. Both guests look into the future and speculate about the future of veterinary medicine in Estonia.
