Holding your breath (1975)

Title in Estonian: Hinge kinni pidades

Documentary Duration 15:40

In July 1974, a group of Estonian underwater hunters were by the Sea of Japan. While living on a tiny rocky island, the hunters caught tons of sea urchins from the depths of the ocean. In total, every hunter had to hold his breath at least for a full day and night. Underwater filming shows the divers catching sea urchins. The documentary mediates the enchanting sea life – a glowing starfish, an octopus, a fourhorn sculpin, a hermit crab, a box crab, a sea cucumber, and a Swift's scallop.
