Estonian sculptor Maire Männik (1922-2003) started her art studies in Estonia; however, during the war she had to move to France and her artwork was created mainly abroad, in Paris. Filmmaker Rein Raamat has followed the artist working in her studio in Paris and sharing her thoughts. Commentaries by Harri Liivrand, Vladimir-Georg Karassev-Orgusaar and French art historian Emmanuelle Corcellet-Prévost. The film also serves as a farewell to Marie Männik who passed away in 2003.
