Filmmakers observe the life, work and daily activities of the marines on motor ships "Fricis Rozin" and "Timur Frunze". The life on the ships follows its own rules, however, the living and working conditions of the marines have improved. Just like daily life keeps changing, the seamen's life is influenced by innovations as well.
