The story of these two women takes us back in time for several decades, telling about fatal love and jealousy, hatred and violence, war and deportation, betrayal and death. Inhuman conditions magnify inhuman behaviour, fixed ideas and hate. Even if the times have changed, violence is still there, in disguise.
